When I booked my dive trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I expected beautiful coral reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But then I discovered something on Amadive Con Dao's dive list: **Wreck Diving**. My pulse jumped. This was more than a standard reef dive; this was an adventure into history.

Honestly, I was a bit a little apprehensive. Diving a wreck is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive Con Dao Dive Center** were absolutely professional. The Divemasters gave us an excellent briefing. We discussed our safety procedures, the history of the wreck, and what to expect below. Being in a small group instantly made me feel confident.

Going down was surreal. At first, it's a dark shape in the blue, and then it appeared. It was massive. It's now a bustling artificial reef, covered in corals and teeming with fish. We saw giant groupers hiding from inside the hull, and lionfish patrolling the superstructure. That feeling of gliding next to this silent, ghostly structure is hard to describe—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling all at once. It's read more a time capsule on the seabed.

For any an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and looking for something more the standard reef, I cannot recommend this **dive** enough.
